Renewables East is the renewable energy agency for Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire - the East of England. Our Objective is:
'to bring the benefits of renewable energy to the East of England'
The renewable energy sector is growing - fast. We're here to help it grow in the East of England. Success will bring economic benefits, including increased employment and investment, and the development of a secure, competitive and successful renewables market which will benefit us all in ways we may not immediately recognise.

Renewables East employees 16 full time members of staff, representing a huge range of renewable energy knowledge and expertise. RenewableUK BWEA
BWEA changed its name to RenewableUK in 2010 to reflect the fact that their interests are greater than just renewables from wind. RenewableUK is the trade and professional body for the UK wind and marine renewables industries. Formed in 1978 as BWEA, and with over 350 corporate members, RenewableUK is the leading renewable energy trade association in the UK. Wind has been the world's fastest growing renewable energy source for the last seven years, and this trend is expected to continue with falling costs of wind energy and the urgent international need to tackle CO2 emissions to prevent climate change.
REA (Renewable Energy Association)
The Renewable Energy Association was established in 2001 to represent British renewable energy producers and promote the use of sustainable energy in the UK.
