Background info on RE
Renewables East is the renewable energy agency for Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire - the East of England. RE is also contracted to champion the offshore agenda in the East Midlands on behalf of the East Midlands Development Agency. Founded in 2003, with just two employees, the company has grown to a staff of ten, and is going to be investing over £3m into the region during 2008/09.
Our Objective is:
'to bring the benefits of renewable energy to the East of England'
The renewable energy sector is growing - fast. We're here to help it grow in the East of England. Success will bring economic benefits, including increased employment and investment, and the development of a secure, competitive and successful renewables market which will benefit us all in ways we may not immediately recognise.

Renewables East employees 12 full time members of staff, representing a huge range of renewable energy knowledge and expertise. REA (Renewable Energy Association)
