Susan Jordan - Finance Director
Sue joined RE as Management Accountant in March 2006. She is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with 11 years post-qualified experience, all obtained with blue chip companies.
Before joining RE, Sue spent 7 years with Norwich Union, first in the Life business and subsequently in the UK General Insurance Division providing Risk Management and Corporate Governance support and guidance for senior management.
Prior to her time with Norwich Union, Sue spent 5 years with a number of leasing companies, during which time she developed expert knowledge of lease financing. Sue's first role was as Chief Accountant for the UK leasing arm of Philips Electronics, based in Cambridge, where she was responsible for the company's financial control and its finances, including annual statutory accounts, tax and VAT returns, and monthly financial returns to the Philips Group. When Philips sold its leasing business to Textron, a major US conglomerate, Sue transferred to the new leasing operations across Europe. Sue also spent several months as Acting Financial Controller for a UK finance subsidiary to support a transition in management.
