Alyson Booth – Operational Project Manager
Alyson joined Renewables East as the Operational Project Co-ordinator in March2009 as a full time member of the team having worked as a temp' since June 2008.
Alyson has followed her husband around the world working in different locations doing everything from teaching children to feeding pigs. She started her career late in life with the support of John Youngs Limited, a construction company in Norwich where she worked as a Customer Services Manager. During her time there she was instrumental in setting up and running a new company dealing directly with Norwich Union Insurance, providing a building service to domestic insurance customers, liaising between client and customer. While with JYIS Alyson gained qualifications such as ACIOB and ACMI going on a few years later to take a higher diploma in Management.
Although renewable energy is a new area for Alyson she has taken on board the involvement the company have in this field and moulded her 30 years expertise in administration to meet the needs of a fast growing and innovative company.
Out of hours Alyson is a secretary of her village bowls club, spend hours in her garden, designs and makes quilts and likes to keep the local villages awake by ringing their church bells.
