History
Renewables East ("RE") was formed in 2003 by the collective influence of a wide rangeof stakeholders, from both public and private sectors. Operating independently,as a not-for-profit company, RE was formed with a Board ofnon-Executive Directors and a company membership comprising many of thoseoriginal stakeholders.
Renewables East is committed to engaging with as many organisations, companiesand groups as possible.
The company continues to grow expanding both in number ofactivities, staff and regional, national and European funding available forinvesting strategically in the regional and national renewables agenda.
