John Reynolds - Chairman
John Reynolds was a former Managing Director of Coulson Joinery Ltd - Coulson Building Group, a privately owned company, which has been operating in the Cambridge area since 1989.
He has worked as a Representative in the political sector, first being selected in May 1981 to represent the Coleridge Division and then from 1985 the Girton Division as a conservative Member of Cambridgeshire County Council. Deputy Leader of the Council for the past 10 years to date. Deputy Leader of the Conservative Group for 16 of the past 25 years.
John has served on most County committees in the past 25 years, chaired sub-committees, service development groups, service advisory and working groups on Education, Finance, Best Value, Audit & Efficiency. Cabinet member for Strategic Planning, Minerals and Wate Planning. Chairman of senior appointment panel since 1997.
He is currently Deputy Leader and County Council lead portfolio member for the Office of Environment & Community Services.
